Subject: Latin America Youth Leaders Conference-El Salvador

Greetings!

I just got back from a fantastic few days in El Salvador where I had the opportunity to participate in “CELAD Juvenil”, an annual conference for National and District Youth Leaders in Latin America. There were about 100 in attendance from Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Mexico (I hope I didn’t leave out anyone!). We had a great time of fellowship, strategic conversation, and inspiration (I don’t know if there’s any group that can match Latin American Youth Leaders in fervent worship times!) together.

It was moving to hear of the huge burden these leaders carry for the youth of their country, and how much they sacrifice to minister to them. It’s obvious that God is moving across Latin America among this generation. What a privilege to be a part of that!

Not only was it a blessing to be in the spiritually charged atmosphere. El Salvador is a gorgeous country. If you’d like to see a bit of it, click on the link below to see some photos I posted on Facebook from the trip.
